What do I do if I think I may be pregnant?
The Student Health Center can get students in quickly for a pregnancy test. You will be asked to provide a urine sample and results are generally available before you leave the Student Health Center. To schedule an appointment, go to the Saluki Health Portal. Over-the-counter home pregnancy tests are available at most pharmacies (including the Student Health Center Pharmacy) for about $10. Read and follow the directions carefully for more accurate result.
Where do I go for Birth Control?
Condom bulk packs and Loving Well Kits are available at the SIU Pharmacy. For oral contraception or other birth control methods, log onto the Saluki Health Portal to make your appointment.
How do I get tested for STDS/STIS/HIV?
Testing may be done in two different ways:
